Description	This dataset contains the total installed capacity per year in megawatts of the preferred bidders in South Africa's Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP) and the total installed capacity per year (MW) of private projects registered with the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa). It was created to compare the total installed capacity of REIPPPP projects and Nersa projects. The data comes from two sources: the Independent Power Producers (IPP) database and Nersa. Note: This list contains projects that have been registered, it is important to note that not all registered projects are operational.
